BLD Announces New Book – Understanding Personal Styles

The Business Leadership Development Corporation (BLD) announces the publication of its book “Understanding Personal Styles – Balancing Inter-Personal Skills with Professional Skills” as a soft cover paperback. The book includes a link to an online personality profile survey. The book is a companion to the Understanding Personal Styles eseminar, which has been available since September 2008.

According to BLD's research, the likelihood of success in business is as much based upon using inter-personal skills effectively as it is based upon using professional skills.

Understanding Personal Styles was developed from BLD's business strategy, organizational reviews, and performance assessment engagements, including experience with both seminars and one-on-one coaching and mentoring sessions.

The book provides a framework for determining the values, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of people. It increases the likelihood of success in both social and professional relationships, which is based on the ability to relate, to build a rapport, and to interact with others. As a consequence, an individual can become a better communicator who entertains, informs, convinces, persuades, and negotiates effectively.
