Enterpriship is the Art and Science of Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Management

Phoenix, Arizona – January 19, 2009 – Enterpriship is the art and science of entrepreneurship, leadership, and management, according to the author of the “Enterpriship Digest,” a multi-volume series.

Nigel A.L. Brooks, president of Phoenix-based The Business Leadership Development Corporation (BLD), has written two short books in the Enterpriship Digest series.

Brooks is a seasoned management consultant and motivational speaker with over thirty years of experience in working with single entrepreneurs to the Fortune 100 in over twenty countries around the world. He also established and operated the award winning Java Centrale – Metrocenter in the nineties, and held senior positions at American Express, Booz & Company, and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Brooks' first entrepreneurial venture was Tornado Enterprises, a publishing company that he established as a teenager in the United Kingdom.

“Enterpriship Digest” is aimed at entrepreneurs, lifestyle business enterprise owners, executives, managers, professionals, students, and others interested in honing their entrepreneurial, leadership, and managerial skills.

The first two volumes in the series each feature 25 articles on topics in response to questions from clients of BLD. BLD was established in 2000 and practices in the aerospace, financial services, information technology, manufacturing and distribution, pharmaceutical, wholesale, retail, and transportation, and government industries.

The articles feature topics such as enterprise formation, marketing and sales, organizational design, process design, team building, and planning and performance measurement.

The word “enterpriship” is derived from management, leadership, enterprise, and entrepreneurship. More volumes are planned in the future.
